Coffin Race at FDGDCoffin Race

Saturday, March 11th at 2 pm
Entry Fee: $75/team

REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED

Slide, roll, drag, or carry your coffin through an obstacle course to the finish line. Six pallbearers carry their coffin with a rider inside through the snowy course. Finish times will be determined when the last team member has crossed the finish line. The top four time teams will race in quarter finals, top two from each heat will race for 1st and 2nd place.

Be sure to read the Coffin Race rules. Every participant MUST fill out a release and waiver and all teams MUST check in on Saturday between 9 and 11 am at FDGD Headquarters (Teen Center, 151 East St.). If you have questions that are not answered on the rules page, send an email to frosty@frozendeadguydays.org.

  • Register on Saturday at the plunge site.
  • Check in onsite at Guercio Field before plunging.
  • Portion of proceeds goes to Rise Against Hunger

Rise From the Dead Fat Bike Rally

Sunday, March 12th at 1pm

The 1st Annual Fat Tire Bike Race has arrived at Frozen Dead Guy Days. For one hour, experienced and novice fat bike racers will ride snow bikes up, over and around obstacles at the new site of the Coffin Races plus ride in town to strut their stuff. There may be room to register last minute, so ask at the Teens Center how to participate.

This new event is produced by Without Limits Productions, which organizes sports events throughout the region, and presented by Bike Racing of Colorado (BRAC). Special guest racer Katie Compton of KFC Racing and Trek/Panache—America’s most successful Cyclocross athlete—will participate along with Boulder Junior Cycling team members.
