  • Register for the Polar Plunge, Coffin Races & Parade of Hearses
  • Waiver pick-up for ALL FDGD events (waivers on site for smaller events)
  • All event participants must sign a waiver and get waiver wristband

FDGD Pancake Breakfast

Nederland Community Center (.5 mi North on HWY 72, or walk the path up Jefferson St.)

  • Pancakes, Eggs, Sausage, Cereal, Yogurt, Banana, Coffee, and Orange Juice
  • $12 Adult, $5 Under 12, $5 requested contribution for 60+
  • Sponsored by and supporting the Nederland Area Seniors.

Grandpa’s Mall Crawl

Downtown Nederland (1st St. east of the Visitor Center)

  • Nederland’s 1st. St. transforms into a pedestrian mall so revelers can enjoy street performers and participate in brain freezing and frozen t-shirt contests, icy turkey bowling and more!

  • Jump into the icy pool!
  • Check in onsite at Guercio Field before plunging. If you need to register, visit Headquarters at least one hour prior to plunge.
  • $5 of each registration goes to support TEENS, Inc. Outdoor Leadership Program.
  • Prizes awarded for best costume, runner-up costume, and best team plunge (2-4 people).
  • Every participant MUST fill out a release and waiver.

  • Dunk your hands in a cooler of ice for 1 minute and see how quickly you can fix a flat tire on a bike wheel!
